How this resolves

Closes: 23:59 SAST on 31 October 2026
Resolves: 1 January 2027, or earlier if a show is announced.
Source: Emtee's verified social accounts, the show's promoter, or Stadium Management SA
Rules: Resolves YES if, between this market opening and 23:59 SAST on 31 December 2026, Emtee on his verified social accounts, the show's promoter, or Stadium Management SA officially announces an Emtee headline show at FNB Stadium with a date (the show itself may be in 2027), or tickets for it go on sale through a named ticketing platform. A petition, a vote, a pledge, a sponsor's promise or Emtee saying he wants to do it does not count. Otherwise NO.
If the source is down: If the announcement is hard to verify, reporting by at least two national outlets (for example News24, TimesLIVE or SABC News) quoting the official announcement is enough.
If plans change: If a show is announced and later postponed or cancelled, it still resolves YES: the question is about the announcement. If a show is announced while guessing is open, Guessberry closes guessing as soon as it sees it.
