Which country will win Best African Music Performance at the 2027 Grammys?

How this resolves

Closes: 23:59 SAST on 15 November 2026
Resolves: When the Recording Academy announces the winner on 7 February 2027.
Source: The Recording Academy’s official 2027 Grammy Awards winners list
Rules: Resolves on the nationality of the performing artists credited on the winning nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 2027 Grammy Awards. Producers, songwriters and engineers do not count. South Africa: at least one credited artist is South African and none is Nigerian. Nigeria: at least one credited artist is Nigerian and none is South African. Both: at least one credited artist is South African and at least one is Nigerian. Another country: no credited artist is South African or Nigerian. A South African artist with an artist from a third country counts as South Africa. An artist’s nationality is the one they hold or publicly represent, as stated in their official biography or major news coverage. An artist with both nationalities counts as both. If the category produces a tie and the winning nominations point to different answers, the market is void.
If the source is down: Use the official winners list as reported by at least two reputable news organisations.
If plans change: If the ceremony moves, the market follows the rescheduled ceremony. Void if the category is dropped or not awarded, or if no winner is announced by 31 March 2027.
